Setting Up Your Smartphone for Proper Functioning of the VOIspeed App
To ensure the proper functioning of the VOIspeed app on your Android or iOS smartphone, it is crucial to configure both the device and the app settings correctly. This guide will provide you with detailed steps to correctly set up your iPhone or Android device, allowing you to utilize all the features of VOIspeed without interruptions. Follow the steps described carefully to avoid common malfunctions and ensure effective communication.
Configuration for Android
- Standard Permission Sets At the startup of the app, VOIspeed will request access to:
- Microphone
- Camera
- Contacts
Approve these permissions in the popup offered by the operating system.
- Setting Advanced Permissions
Due to limitations imposed by the operating system, VOIspeed cannot automatically set certain permissions, which must therefore be configured manually in the Android device settings.
Go toSettings > Apps and notifications > VOIspeed
and configure the following permissions:- Notifications:
- Enable all VOIspeed notifications, including:
- Push notification Foreground
- Incoming Call
- Missed Call
- Miscellaneous
- VOIspeed Audio Channel
- Allow notification indicators
- Enable all VOIspeed notifications, including:
- Additional permissions (visible only on some Android versions):
- On lock screen: Show content
- Badge
- Pop-up
- Mobile data and Wi-Fi:
- Activate “Data in background”
- Deactivate “Remove permissions if not in use”
- Notifications:
Configuration for iOS
- Standard Permission Sets
Approve the permissions requested by the VOIspeed App at startup, which include:- Microphone
- Camera
- Contacts
- Check and Set Advanced Permissions Go to
Settings > VOIspeed
and make sure the following are activated:- Contacts
- Photos (select “All photos”)
- Microphone
- Camera
- Notifications:
- Allow notifications
- Urgent notifications
- Sounds
- Badge
- Show previews (set to “Always”)
- Update app in the background
- Cellular data
