How to introduce yourself with the desired exit number

VOIspeed provides the tools to show up with a desired exit number other than the default one. This need arises when several telephone numbers are available on the line (ISDN or VoIP): a multi-number ISDN socket or a direct dialing service.

The exit number must be one of the numbers contemplated by your operator: show up with any exit number that violates Italian law. Some foreign VoIP operators, however, allow this method, which is exploited by some particularly aggressive call centers. This behavior should be reported to the postal police.

STATIC OUTPUT NUMBER

It is the case in which you always want to go out with the same number, for example an additional number of an ISDN socket, or one of the numbers assigned by a VoIP operator in an account. The setting must be made exclusively in the gateway concerned, by setting the exit number to Static, and defining the exit number in full. In the case of the Mediatrix gateway and Telecom operator, the number must normally be written without the leading zero.

NUMBER OF OUTPUT SELECTION THROUGH AND / OR STUDS IN AUTOMATIC SEARCH

This is the case in which each user wishes to present himself with his own exit number: this is only possible if the direct dialing service is active on the line. The setting must be made in the gateway concerned, by setting the exit number to the user’s exit number. For users, it is also necessary to define the exit number in full (the same criteria apply on whether or not the leading zero is required).There is also the option Specified by the caller following which the PBX will try to present itself with the original or caller’s number when an external call is forwarded to the outside (in Italy, however, this is not allowed). If there are many users, you can use the wizard to assign the numbers.
